“SHQIPVILLE” in the heart of Brussels

“SHQIPVILLE” in the heart of Brussels

In the Grand Place, in the heart of Brussels, one of the most beautiful squares in the world, which is visited by thousands of tourists every day, the most exciting event of the year has just happened: The giant fir tree has been installed and this is a celebration for that city and for that square with good chocolate flavor. You know what else happened? An Albanian door and window has been opened! A lodge, in one of the historical buildings of the square, which is called “ShqipVille” and which the organization “Maison Culturelle Belgo-Albanaise” has created as an all-Albanian reception hall.

Everything Made in Albania & Made in Kosovo: Craftsmanship, industry, gastronomy, natural resources, folklore, ethnography, archeology, art, science, all will coexist in “ShqipVille” from the Independence Day of Albania, on November 28 , until the Independence of Kosovo, on February 17.

Everything presented with dignity and combined with the true essence of that space that brings our small country right in the middle of the big world: an area that breathes Albanian and speaks Albanian on air amid a long history of success: Jehoha e Shqipes , Albanian radio since 1986 in Belgium, will now have the frequency in Grand Place.

Albanians, come to our new home in the middle of the giant Grand Place, where on these cold days the Christmas tree hangs, warm Belgian chocolate is served and “ShqipVille” is enjoyed!
